Gujarat Hy-Spin Limited, a cotton yarn manufacturer listed on BSE SME platform, reported its H1 FY26 (half year ended 30 September 2025) results approved by the Board on 12 November 2025. Net sales fell to Rs. 3,658.94 lakhs from Rs. 4,536.74 lakhs in H1 FY25, a decline of about 19% year-on-year. The company posted a net loss of Rs. 30.21 lakhs (EPS of Rs. -0.18), largely similar to the Rs. 29.60 lakh loss in H1 FY25. Total expenses of Rs. 3,737.59 lakhs exceeded total income of Rs. 3,706.18 lakhs, driving the loss. Operating cash flow was positive at Rs. 141.29 lakhs, but cash and equivalents dropped sharply to just Rs. 5.32 lakhs. Debt-equity ratio worsened to 0.88 (from 0.73 at FY25 end) and interest coverage fell to a weak 0.24. Statutory auditor M/s RPC & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications.
Negative for shareholders - the company remains loss-making with shrinking top-line, weakening leverage metrics, very thin cash buffer, and poor interest coverage, signaling continued stress in its cotton yarn business.
