Happy Forgings reported FY25 standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 1,408.9 crore, up ~3.7% from Rs. 1,358.2 crore in FY24. Profit after tax grew ~10% to Rs. 267.6 crore (vs Rs. 243.0 crore), with EPS rising to Rs. 28.40 from Rs. 26.78. For Q4 FY25, revenue was nearly flat at Rs. 352.0 crore while PAT dipped marginally to Rs. 66.5 crore from Rs. 69.9 crore. Operating cash flow improved sharply to Rs. 273.3 crore (vs Rs. 189.4 crore). The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 3 per share and re-appointed S.R. Batliboi & Co LLP as statutory auditor for a 5-year term. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Steady earnings growth, healthy cash generation, and a clean audit opinion are positive for shareholders. The final dividend of Rs. 3/share adds to investor returns. The slight Q4 PAT dip and modest single-digit revenue growth may temper near-term excitement, but expanding margins (EBITDA margin rose ~200 bps to ~31.5%) and strong operating cash flow signal underlying business strength.
