The board of Haryana Financial Corporation approved its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30th June 2025. Total income stood at Rs 0.62 crore, down from Rs 0.69 crore in the same quarter last year. The company posted a net loss of Rs 0.28 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to a profit of Rs 1.81 crore in Q1 FY25, with EPS at Rs (0.01). Most strikingly, Gross NPAs are reported at 100%. The company has recommended to the State Government for winding up/liquidation under Section 45 of the SFCs Act, 1951, and the State Government has decided to delist the shares from BSE. The statutory auditor has flagged a material uncertainty on the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
This is an extremely negative filing for shareholders. The auditor's going-concern warning, 100% Gross NPAs, ongoing losses, and the government's decision to wind up the corporation and delist its shares signal that the stock is effectively heading toward extinction. Shareholders face the risk of receiving very little or no value through the liquidation process.
