HB Portfolio's board, at its November 11, 2025 meeting, approved three key items: (1) unaudited financial results for Q2 and H1 FY26 (ended Sept 30, 2025), (2) appointment of Ms. Meenu Papreja (FCS-11607) as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer (Whole-time KMP) and Nodal Officer, and (3) an interim dividend of Re. 1 per share (10% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY 2025-26, with a record date of November 17, 2025. On a standalone basis, the company swung from a Q1 profit of Rs. 379.16 lakhs to a Q2 loss of Rs. 72.54 lakhs, driven by negative revenue from operations of Rs. 20.64 lakhs; H1 FY26 PAT came in at Rs. 306.62 lakhs versus Rs. 323.54 lakhs a year ago. On a consolidated basis, Q2 profit after tax was nearly flat at Rs. 7.53 lakhs, while H1 FY26 consolidated PAT stood at Rs. 227.30 lakhs with total assets of Rs. 29,243.60 lakhs. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified limited review opinion on the results.
Shareholders will receive a 10% interim dividend, to be paid by December 10, 2025 — a modest cash return. However, the sharp Q2 standalone reversal into losses, driven by fair value swings in the investment portfolio, may weigh on near-term sentiment despite the overall H1 profitability.
