HCP Plastene Bulkpack has resubmitted its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for FY25 after correcting the Deferred Tax (Income)/Expense figure for Q4. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations jumped to ₹11,808.53 lakh in FY25 from ₹4,554.91 lakh in FY24 (~159% growth), while profit after tax swung from a loss of ₹276.37 lakh to a profit of ₹574.37 lakh (EPS ₹5.38 vs ₹(2.46)). On a consolidated basis, revenue rose to ₹46,343.54 lakh from ₹29,455.54 lakh (~57% growth) and PAT climbed to ₹1,332.91 lakh from ₹30.81 lakh. The auditor (Ashok Dhariwal & Co.) issued an unmodified and unqualified opinion on both sets of results, with no qualifications, emphasis of matter, or going concern flags.
The revision is a minor accounting correction (Deferred Tax) and does not change the strong turnaround narrative — revenue and profits have grown sharply year-on-year for both standalone and consolidated numbers. However, operating cash flow remains negative (standalone ₹(1,274.12) lakh, consolidated ₹(1,917.90) lakh) and current borrowings have risen sharply (consolidated up to ₹15,779.18 lakh from ₹11,030.81 lakh), so shareholders should watch cash conversion and debt levels despite the strong headline profit growth.
