HDFC Bank board to review findings on Atanu Chakraborty's exit on June 18

HDFC Bank's board will meet on June 18 to review findings of law firms examining the exit of former part-time chairman Atanu Chakraborty, who resigned on March 18 citing ethical concerns. Preliminary findings from Wadia Ghandy, Trilegal, and Wilson Sonsini reportedly found no governance irregularities or ethical breaches in the issues he flagged. The board will also consider a three-month extension for interim chairman Keki Mistry, whose term ends June 18, pending RBI approval.
