India Ratings assigned IND A- with Stable outlook to HEG's wholly owned subsidiary TACC Limited for bank loan facilities worth INR 1,230 crore. TACC is building a 20,000 tonne per annum lithium-ion battery-grade synthetic graphite anode plant in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh at a project cost of INR 1,893 crore. HEG has guaranteed the term loan and infused equity plus optionally convertible debentures into TACC. The project backs the group's energy transition plans and is expected to start operations around April 2027.
