HeidelbergCement India has received environmental consent from Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board to establish a cement blending and grinding unit at Village Dongaliya, Tehsil Punasa, District Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. The consent dated 17 May 2026 covers approvals under both Water and Air Pollution Control Acts. The project will include securing long-term fly ash supply with land allocated on lease for the unit. This represents a capacity expansion initiative for the company.
Positive for shareholders as the company is expanding its manufacturing footprint with secured raw material supply. Environmental approvals reduce regulatory risk for the new facility.
