HeidelbergCement India reported FY26 revenue of ₹23,296 million (up 8.4% YoY) with EBITDA of ₹2,869 million (up 19.8% YoY). EBITDA per tonne improved to ₹584, up ~10% YoY, driven mainly by decrease in input costs. Q4 saw margin pressure with EBITDA down 10% YoY to ₹649/t as price decreases partly offset cost optimization. The company is now completely debt free with cash and bank balance of ₹4,037 million and continues to operate on negative working capital. Board recommended dividend of ₹7 per share. The company was declared preferred bidder for 2 mining leases in Madhya Pradesh.
Strong operational performance with FY26 margin improvement and clean balance sheet (debt-free) is positive for shareholders. However, Q4 margin pressure and cautious management commentary on input costs and geopolitical risks may limit near-term upside.
