Hercules Investments Ltd reported total revenue of Rs. 894.04 lakhs for FY26, up 45.4% from Rs. 614.76 lakhs in FY25. Net profit after tax for the year stood at Rs. 772.43 lakhs, a 38.8% increase from Rs. 556.23 lakhs. However, Q4 FY26 showed a net loss of Rs. 8.09 lakhs due to higher other expenses (Rs. 26.34 lakhs). Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. -110.35 lakhs, a sharp reversal from positive Rs. 758.68 lakhs in the prior year. Other comprehensive income recorded a large loss of Rs. 16,335.25 lakhs primarily from fair value changes on investments (FVOCI). The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share (250%). The figures for Q4 and prior periods have been restated due to a demerger scheme with Ind AS 103 measurement period adjustments of Rs. 7,201 lakhs recorded through reserves. Auditors gave an unmodified opinion.
The company delivered strong revenue and PAT growth for the full year, but the steep decline in operating cash flow and large OCI loss from investment fair value changes are concerning. Restatement of prior period numbers adds complexity. The positive dividend signal may offer some support to shareholders.
