Heritage Foods reported FY26 revenue of Rs 45,260 million, up 9.5% YoY, with Q4 FY26 revenue of Rs 11,576 million, up 10.4% YoY. However, profitability declined sharply due to industry-wide milk shortages and elevated procurement inflation. Q4 FY26 EBITDA fell 34.6% to Rs 522 million with margins contracting to 4.5% from 7.6% YoY. Full year EBITDA dropped 19.5% to Rs 2,663 million with PAT down 31% to Rs 1,501 million. Value-added products (VAP) showed strong growth, reaching Rs 4,668 million in Q4 (up 22.5% YoY) and now contributing 41.9% to total revenue. The company highlighted strategic focus on VAP premiumisation, new ice cream capacity at Shamirpet, and expansion into new geographies like Haryana and Maharashtra.
While revenue growth remained resilient, the sharp margin compression in FY26 signals ongoing headwinds from raw milk inflation. The shift toward higher-margin VAP products is a positive structural trend but will take time to offset commodity pressures. Shareholders should monitor procurement cost trends and VAP mix improvement for margin recovery signs.
