Hero MotoCorp's electric brand VIDA has entered Nepal through a distributor partnership with CG Motors (Chaudhary Group), marking VIDA's first international market. Two products launched: the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER electric scooter in two variants (VX2 Plus with 140 km range, 90 km/h top speed, dual 2.2 kWh batteries; VX2 Go with 75 km range, 2.2 kWh battery) and the VIDA DIRT.E K3 youth off-roader. Both VX2 variants support DC fast charging (0 to 80 percent in 65 minutes) and have removable batteries. Hero has been present in Nepal since 2014 and sees this launch as the start of VIDA's global expansion.
Marks VIDA's first international market, signaling Hero MotoCorp's global EV push. Long-term positive for growth; near-term financial impact likely limited.
