Hero MotoCorp reported FY2025-26 standalone revenue of Rs 46,830 crore, up 15% from Rs 40,756 crore in FY25. Two-wheeler sales increased to 64.69 lakh units from 58.99 lakh units. Standalone PAT grew to Rs 5,268 crore from Rs 4,610 crore, with basic EPS of Rs 263.34. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 75 per share (3,750%), which combined with an earlier interim dividend of Rs 110 per share makes a total annual dividend of Rs 185 per share. An exceptional charge of Rs 119 crore was recorded for new Labour Code provisions. The auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The company delivered solid double-digit revenue and profit growth with strong cash generation from operations (Rs 8,315 crore). The enhanced dividend payout and clean audit should provide investor comfort, though rising input costs and regulatory compliance costs merit monitoring.
