Hi-Tech Pipes reported FY25 revenue of Rs. 3,068 Cr, up 14% YoY, with profit after tax jumping 66% to Rs. 72.95 Cr. Full-year EBITDA grew 39.33% to Rs. 160.03 Cr and EBITDA per tonne rose 12.26% to Rs. 3,297, driven by better realisations and a higher share of value-added products. Q4 FY25 revenue grew 7.74% to Rs. 734 Cr and PAT surged 59% to Rs. 17.63 Cr, though Q4 EBITDA was nearly flat at Rs. 34.93 Cr. The balance sheet strengthened sharply, with debt-to-equity falling from 0.70x to 0.15x, working capital days cut to 52, ROCE improving to 14.35%, and a credit rating upgrade to A+. Management highlighted commissioning of the Sikandrabad greenfield plant and Sanand Unit-2 Phase-II, and reiterated a 2 million MT capacity target by FY29 (from current 7,50,000 MTPA).
Strong full-year earnings, improving per-tonne profitability, and a much cleaner balance sheet with an A+ rating are positive for shareholders. Near-term stock reaction may hinge on the flat Q4 EBITDA, but the capacity expansion roadmap and debt reduction support the long-term growth story.
