Hilton Metal Forging reported weak Q1 FY26 results, with revenue from operations falling to Rs. 2,205.05 lacs from Rs. 3,403.27 lacs in the same quarter last year, a YoY decline of about 35%. Total income stood at Rs. 2,242.58 lacs versus Rs. 3,435.61 lacs previously. Profit before tax dropped sharply to Rs. 10.44 lacs from Rs. 72.98 lacs, and profit after tax fell to Rs. 14.81 lacs (Rs. 0.06 per share) compared to Rs. 57.45 lacs (Rs. 0.27 per share) in Q1 FY25. Finance costs rose to Rs. 158.71 lacs from Rs. 150.86 lacs. Statutory auditor Anil Bansal & Associates issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or observations.
Sharp drop in both revenue (~35%) and profits (~74% YoY) signals significant pressure on the forging business and is likely to weigh negatively on the stock in the near term, though PAT remained positive.
