Hind Aluminium Industries reported a sharp jump in profitability for Q1 FY26 on a consolidated basis. Revenue from operations rose to ₹1.21 crore (standalone) from ₹0.25 crore in Q1 FY25, while total income climbed to ₹2.91 crore from ₹1.06 crore. Standalone net profit surged to ₹3.50 crore versus ₹0.63 crore a year ago, and consolidated net profit (attributable to owners) jumped to ₹3.90 crore from ₹0.63 crore. Standalone EPS stood at ₹5.56 (not annualised) against ₹1.00 in the year-ago quarter. Segment-wise, the Aluminium Products business remained in operating loss (₹(0.92) crore), but Treasury Operations contributed ₹2.11 crore to profits and Power segment added ₹0.10 crore.
Results are strong headline-wise, with major growth in revenue and profits largely supported by Treasury Operations rather than the core Aluminium business. The auditor issued a qualified review report because gratuity and leave encashment provisions were not based on actuarial valuation as required under Ind AS 19, with the financial impact unascertained — investors should keep this caveat in mind alongside the otherwise healthy numbers.
