Hindalco reported its highest-ever financial performance for Q4 FY25 and the full year. FY25 consolidated revenue rose 10% to ₹2,38,496 crore, with EBITDA jumping 38% to ₹35,496 crore and profit after tax (PAT) surging 58% to ₹16,002 crore. In Q4 alone, revenue grew 16% to ₹64,890 crore, EBITDA rose 43% to ₹10,296 crore, and PAT climbed 66% to ₹5,284 crore. Basic EPS for the year stood at ₹72.05, and the board recommended a 500% dividend (₹5/share), up 43% from last year. The company also strengthened its balance sheet, with net debt-to-EBITDA improving to 1.06x from 1.21x, while Aluminium Upstream margins hit an industry-best 47%.
Strong across-the-board growth in profitability, a higher dividend payout, and improving leverage are positive for shareholders and likely to support the stock. The 38% EBITDA growth on just 10% revenue growth signals significant margin expansion, which is a key indicator of operational strength.
