Hindalco reported all-time high consolidated revenue and EBITDA for both Q4 and FY26. Q4 revenue rose 20% to ₹78,133 crore, with EBITDA up 9% at ₹11,197 crore. PAT before exceptional items grew 10% to ₹5,796 crore, but reported PAT fell to ₹2,597 crore due to Oswego plant disruptions from fires. Full-year revenue stood at ₹2,74,944 crore, up 15%, with EBITDA at ₹38,097 crore. The India business delivered record performance across Aluminium Upstream (EBITDA up 13% to ₹5,448 crore), Aluminium Downstream (EBITDA up 16%), and Copper (EBITDA up 48% to ₹907 crore). Net Debt to EBITDA increased to 1.83x from 1.06x a year ago, reflecting higher leverage. The Board recommended a dividend of ₹5 per share (500%).
Strong revenue and EBITDA growth demonstrates business momentum, but the increased leverage ratio and Oswego-related PAT decline may raise concerns about near-term profitability and balance sheet strength. The record India business performance is a positive signal for domestic operations.
