Hindprakash Industries reported FY26 revenue of Rs 11,505.93 lakhs, up 13% from Rs 10,181.60 lakhs in FY25. Net profit after tax grew 67% to Rs 274.64 lakhs from Rs 164.43 lakhs previously. However, the company reported a significant negative operating cash flow of Rs 920.12 lakhs for the year, worse than the Rs 438.79 lakhs deficit in FY25. Short-term borrowings increased to Rs 2,001 lakhs from Rs 1,492.76 lakhs. The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, and a new cost auditor (A.G. Tulsian & Co.) was appointed for FY27.
Strong PAT growth is positive, but the widening negative operating cash flow and rising short-term debt raise concerns about liquidity. Shareholders should monitor whether the company can convert profits into actual cash generation.
