HGS reported total consolidated income of ₹1,254.63 Cr for Q4 FY26 (Jan-Mar 2026) and ₹5,005.04 Cr for the full year FY26. For the year, net profit before tax was ₹75.71 Cr and net profit after tax was ₹4.94 Cr — a steep decline from FY25's net profit after tax of ₹100.72 Cr. Q4 saw a net loss of ₹13.58 Cr (after tax) despite strong other comprehensive income of ₹230.23 Cr. Reserves grew to ₹8,269.98 Cr from ₹7,661.60 Cr the prior year. The full-year EPS came in at ₹6.92 (basic, not annualised). Revenue dipped from ₹5,334.18 Cr in FY25 to ₹5,005.04 Cr in FY26.
Revenue contraction and sharply lower annual net profit may concern investors; however the large OCI gain and reserve strengthening indicate some accounting adjustments. The Q4 net loss warrants monitoring on the next quarterly performance.
