Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) announced outcomes from its August 6, 2025 board meeting. On a standalone basis, Q1 FY26 revenue from operations was ₹462.10 crore (vs ₹411.11 crore in Q1 FY25) but the company posted a loss after tax of ₹62.15 crore (vs ₹85.18 crore loss a year ago). On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations was ₹1,056.23 crore, with a loss from continuing operations of ₹46.33 crore before tax, though profit after tax stood at ₹11.16 crore helped by ₹57.49 crore from discontinued operations. Basic EPS was ₹3.75. The BPM segment performed well with ₹70.22 crore segment profit, while Media & Communications posted a ₹38.81 crore loss. The 30th AGM is set for September 25, 2025, with book closure from September 23–24. Director Paul Abraham will retire, Amit Saharia is appointed as a Non-Executive Director, and senior executives Pushkar Misra (retired) and N K Rouse (resigned) are exiting with transition plans in place.
The continuing operations remain in the red, though narrower year-on-year losses and stable BPM segment offer some comfort; investors will watch the AGM for further clarity on the discontinued operations and any updates on the ongoing Income Tax department proceedings. Director and senior management transitions are routine but worth tracking for execution continuity.
