Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has informed the exchanges that the Ministry of Defence has withdrawn the nomination of Shri Amit Satija as Government Nominee Director with effect from 15th July 2025. He had served on the board for a brief period from 21st May 2025 to 15th July 2025. In his place, Ms. Manisha Chandra, currently serving as Joint Secretary (Aerospace) in the Ministry of Defence's Department of Defence Production, has been appointed as Part-time Official Director (Government Nominee Director) effective 15th July 2025, until further government orders. Her appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the next General Meeting. As HAL is a central public sector enterprise, the Government of India is the promoter and routinely nominates officials to its board.
