Hindustan Composites Limited has published a notice in newspapers (The Financial Express in English and Mumbai Lakshadweep in Marathi) on 1st July 2025, informing shareholders about the upcoming transfer of unclaimed equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority. Under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 and IEPF Rules, 2016, shares belonging to shareholders who have not claimed dividends for seven consecutive years (from FY 2017-18 onwards) will be moved to the IEPF's demat account. Shareholders have until 5th October 2025 to claim their shares and unclaimed dividends by contacting the Registrar (MUFG Intime India Private Limited). After the deadline, the shares will be transferred automatically, and claims can only be made later via IEPF-5 form filed with the IEPF Authority. The company has uploaded the full list of affected shareholders on its website www.hindcompo.com.
This is a routine compliance filing and is not expected to materially impact the stock price. However, shareholders who have not encashed dividends since FY 2017-18 must act before 5th October 2025 to prevent their shares from being permanently transferred to the IEPF Authority.
