HCC has secured a major water infrastructure contract worth approximately Rs.2,917 crore from CIDCO (City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra). The project involves constructing a 22.21 km raw water tunnel using Tunnel Boring Machine technology and a 250 MLD water treatment plant in Raigad district. HCC's share in the LCESPL-HCC Joint Venture is approximately Rs.1,100 crore. The contract follows a Design, Build and Operate model with 15 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance included. This project will support water supply infrastructure for Navi Mumbai's developing areas.
This contract win strengthens HCC's order book with a substantial water infrastructure project. The JV structure reduces execution risk while HCC's ~Rs.1,100 crore share represents meaningful revenue potential over the project duration, including 15-year O&M visibility.
