ICRA has reaffirmed Hindustan Copper's credit ratings with no changes. The long-term rating remains at [ICRA]AA+ (Stable) and short-term rating at [ICRA]A1+ for Rs.2,100 crore of bank facilities. Additionally, the short-term rating for Rs.100 crore commercial paper was also reaffirmed at [ICRA]A1+. The ratings cover various facilities including term loans of Rs.150 crore, cash credit of Rs.350 crore, non-fund based facilities of Rs.300 crore, and unallocated limits of Rs.800 crore. The rating action follows a revision in the rated limits as requested by the company.
The reaffirmation of high investment-grade ratings indicates strong financial health and low credit risk, which is positive for the company's borrowing costs and investor confidence. No negative implications for shareholders as there is no downgrade or negative watch.
