Hindustan Media Ventures Limited (HMVL) has agreed to invest up to Rs. 9.34 Crore in KSKT Agromart Private Limited, a Mumbai-based company that runs 'Kaze Living', an online marketplace for organic groceries and dairy products. The investment will be made in cash by subscribing to equity shares or compulsorily convertible preference shares, with the final shareholding to be determined at the time of conversion. KSKT's revenue has grown sharply, rising from Rs. 1.17 Crore in FY23 to Rs. 5.45 Crore in FY24 and Rs. 12.99 Crore in FY25. The deal is expected to close in April 2026 and is not a related-party transaction. HMVL said the investment is aimed at earning future capital returns by leveraging its media assets, even though the target operates outside HMVL's core media business.
This is a small, strategic investment relative to HMVL's size and lies outside its core media business, so the immediate impact on shareholders is limited. However, the rapid revenue growth of KSKT and the use of HMVL's media platform for brand-building could create long-term value if the bet pays off.
