Hindustan Oil Exploration Company (HOEC) announced that its Board met on February 13, 2026 and approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Standalone Q3 FY26 revenue from operations was ₹7,732.32 lakhs and profit after tax was ₹1,195.99 lakhs (EPS of ₹0.90). For the nine months ended Dec 31, 2025, standalone revenue was ₹48,237.08 lakhs and PAT was ₹7,921.03 lakhs (EPS of ₹5.99), lifted by a one-time exceptional gain of ₹3,257.87 lakhs from remeasurement of its stake in the B-80 block after taking over 40% additional participating interest. Consolidated 9M FY26 revenue was ₹49,185.88 lakhs with PAT of ₹5,502.17 lakhs. Statutory auditors BSR & Co. LLP issued unmodified limited review reports. The company also flagged outstanding receivables from HPCL under a Crude Off-take Agreement disputed on quality grounds, and recognised a ₹145–172 lakh impact from new Labour Codes effective November 21, 2025.
Strong 9M FY26 headline PAT is largely driven by the one-time B-80 exceptional gain rather than steady operational improvement, so the underlying run-rate picture is more modest. The HPCL receivable dispute is a watchable risk for near-term cash flows, though HOEC says legal opinion shields it from damages. Results are now reported on a larger perimeter after consolidating the Kharsang and B-80 block interests, which should make year-on-year comparisons more meaningful from this quarter.
