The board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations rose to ₹8,348.07 lakhs from ₹7,842.45 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 6.4%. Standalone profit before tax and exceptional items grew to ₹1,569.26 lakhs from ₹1,262.64 lakhs, a jump of roughly 24%. Reported standalone PAT came in at ₹4,821.13 lakhs (EPS ₹3.65 vs ₹0.92 in Q1 FY25), but this includes a one-time exceptional gain of ₹3,251.87 lakhs. Consolidated PAT stood at ₹4,387.35 lakhs with EPS of ₹3.32. The exceptional item arises from the deemed government approval of acquiring the remaining 40% participating interest in the B-80 block, which triggered a provisional fair value gain on remeasuring the previously held 60% stake. Auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unqualified limited review report. The board also approved revised policies related to insider trading, related party transactions, material subsidiaries, and disclosure of material information.
Strong reported PAT growth is largely driven by a non-recurring exceptional gain from the B-80 block acquisition; underlying operational growth (PBT before exceptional) is moderate at around 24% YoY. Stock may react to the headline PAT surge, but investors should note that this boost is one-time and not from recurring operations.
