HPCL has informed the stock exchanges that its current Company Secretary, Shri V Murali, will superannuate (retire) from the company with effect from July 31, 2025. In his place, Shri Rakesh Kumar Singh, who is currently serving as Joint Company Secretary at HPCL, has been appointed as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer from August 01, 2025. Singh is a qualified Company Secretary with over two decades of secretarial experience, having previously worked at Zuari Industries, GMR Group, Reliance Industries, Bharat Oman Refineries, Hindustan Times Group, and RPG Group. Director-Finance & CFO Rajneesh Narang and the new Company Secretary will jointly be authorized for materiality determinations and stock exchange disclosures going forward.
This is a routine KMP succession — an internal promotion from Joint Company Secretary to Company Secretary — with no change to the CFO or top management. Shareholders are unlikely to see any material impact on the stock or company operations as a result of this transition.
