Hindustan Tin Works Limited held its 67th AGM on 26th September 2025 via video conferencing. All five ordinary resolutions were passed. These included adoption of the audited balance sheet as at 31st March 2025, declaration of a dividend on equity shares for FY25, re-appointment of Mr. Sanjay Bhatla as director (retiring by rotation), appointment of secretarial auditors, and ratification of cost auditors' remuneration for FY26. Voting turnout was about 41.5% of outstanding shares (1.04 crore total shares). Promoters (holding ~41% of shares) voted 100% in favour of all resolutions. Four of the five resolutions received 99.96% approval overall, while the dividend declaration saw the most dissent at around 6% against, still passing comfortably at 93.93%.
The smooth passing of all resolutions, including the dividend, reflects stable governance and shareholder confidence. The slightly higher dissent on the dividend (vs other routine resolutions) is notable but not material — investors can expect the declared dividend to be paid out as approved.
