Hindusthan Udyog Ltd has published its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 FY26 and the full year ended March 31, 2026 in Financial Express and Ekdin, as required by SEBI LODR Regulation 47. On a standalone basis, full-year total income from operations rose to Rs. 890.69 lakhs from Rs. 866.60 lakhs in FY25, while net profit after tax grew to Rs. 645.51 lakhs from Rs. 555.55 lakhs. Standalone basic and diluted EPS nearly doubled to Rs. 19.63 from Rs. 10.55 a year earlier. For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, standalone net profit after tax stood at Rs. 45.49 lakhs with an EPS of Rs. 0.73. On a consolidated basis, however, full-year results show a decline, with total income from operations falling to Rs. 1,705.11 lakhs from Rs. 2,288.29 lakhs and net profit after tax dropping to Rs. 1,714.02 lakhs from Rs. 2,972.12 lakhs in the previous year.
Standalone performance is encouraging, with EPS almost doubling year-on-year, which is positive for shareholders. However, the sharp decline in consolidated profit and income suggests weakness at the group or subsidiary level, which investors should watch closely despite the strong standalone numbers.
