Hipolin Ltd, a detergent powder and cake manufacturer, reported weak Q1 FY26 results. Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 326.58 lakhs from Rs. 661.03 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a drop of roughly 51% year-on-year. Total income stood at Rs. 331.53 lakhs versus Rs. 669.77 lakhs last year. The company swung from a small profit of Rs. 4.98 lakhs in Q1 FY25 to a net loss of Rs. 73.58 lakhs in Q1 FY26, with loss per share of Rs. 2.35 versus earnings of Rs. 0.16 earlier. Full-year FY25 had also ended in a loss of Rs. 327.70 lakhs on revenue of Rs. 2,156.42 lakhs. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications, and the company stated there are no loan defaults or related party transactions to report.
Shareholders face a clearly negative quarter — revenue nearly halved and the company slipped back into losses after a marginal profit last year. With FY25 also closing in the red, near-term earnings momentum looks weak and the stock may remain under pressure until revenue recovers.
