Hisar Spinning Mills Ltd, a cotton yarn manufacturer, reported its Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26 unaudited results. Total income for H1 FY26 stood at around Rs 2,225 lakhs, almost flat compared to Rs 2,215 lakhs in H1 FY25, indicating stagnant revenue. However, profit after tax jumped sharply to roughly Rs 142 lakhs versus about Rs 103 lakhs in H1 FY25, a growth of around 38%. For Q2 alone, PAT rose to about Rs 50 lakhs from Rs 38 lakhs YoY, while revenue dipped marginally to around Rs 1,163 lakhs from Rs 1,176 lakhs. Operating cash flow swung to a positive Rs 47 lakhs from a negative Rs 33 lakhs in the year-ago period. Statutory auditors Jain & Anil Sood issued an unqualified review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Positive for shareholders: strong profit growth despite flat top-line points to meaningful margin expansion and better cost control, while improved cash generation and lower long-term borrowings strengthen the balance sheet. The stock may get a modest positive reaction, though the lack of revenue growth caps upside enthusiasm.
