Hitachi Energy India reported strong Q4 FY26 results with revenue of Rs 8,147.7 Cr (up 27.6% YoY) and PAT of Rs 987.8 Cr (up 157.3% YoY). PBT margin expanded significantly to 16.9% from 8.1% in FY25, while Operating EBITDA margin improved to 15.4% from 9.3%. The company announced an additional Rs 2,000 Cr capex, taking total planned investment to Rs 4,000 Cr for a greenfield large power transformer facility in Karjan, Gujarat. Order backlog remains strong across Transmission, Data Centers, Renewables, and Transport segments. The company achieved 74% CO2 reduction from 2019 levels and 100% renewable electricity in operations.
The sharp margin expansion demonstrates operational leverage and pricing power, which could be positive for the stock. The Rs 4,000 Cr capex commitment signals confidence in long-term demand, particularly from data centers, renewables, and grid infrastructure, supporting revenue visibility.
