Hitachi Energy India reported strong Q4 FY26 results with revenue of Rs 2,754.1 crore, up 46.2% YoY, and PAT of Rs 330.5 crore, up 79.7% YoY. For the full year FY26, revenue stood at Rs 8,147.7 crore (up 27.6%) and PAT at Rs 987.8 crore (up 157.2%). The company declared an Operational EBITDA of Rs 452.4 crore for Q4 with a margin of 16.4%. Order backlog reached a record high of Rs 29,555.3 crore as of March 31, 2026, up 53.5% YoY. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 8 per share (400% on face value Rs 2) subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. Additionally, the Board approved a fresh capex of Rs 2,000 crore for a greenfield large power transformers facility in Karjan, Gujarat, taking cumulative capex to Rs 4,000 crore. The auditors gave an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
The strong quarterly and annual performance with near-doubling of profits, record order backlog, and increased capex signals robust growth prospects. The dividend recommendation provides immediate shareholder returns while the expanded manufacturing capacity in power transformers positions the company to capture growing demand from India's energy transition and data center sectors.
