Hitachi Energy India reported exceptional Q4 FY26 results with revenue of ₹2,754 crore, up 46.2% YoY, and PAT of ₹330.5 crore, up 79.7% YoY. Full year FY26 revenue stood at ₹8,147.7 crore (up 27.6%) with PAT of ₹987.8 crore (up 157.2%). The company declared record order backlog of ₹29,555.3 crore, up 53.5% YoY, providing strong revenue visibility. Operational EBITDA grew 111.5% to ₹1,252.6 crore with margins expanding to 16.4%. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹8 per share (400%) subject to shareholder approval at the 7th AGM on August 28, 2026. Additionally, the Board approved ₹2,000 crore investment for a new greenfield large power transformers facility in Karjan, Gujarat, taking cumulative capex to ₹4,000 crore. The auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
The strong quarterly and annual results with near-doubling of profitability and record order backlog indicate robust execution and demand outlook. The expanded capex commitment signals confidence in future growth. The 400% dividend payout rewards shareholders and, combined with the earnings momentum, should be positive for the stock.
