Hitachi Energy India reported strong Q4 FY26 results with revenue of Rs 2,754.1 crore (up 46.2% YoY) and PAT of Rs 330.5 crore (up 79.7% YoY). For full year FY26, revenue stood at Rs 8,147.7 crore with PAT of Rs 987.8 crore, representing 157.2% growth. The company commissioned India's first HVDC city center infeed in Mumbai during the quarter. Order backlog reached a record high of Rs 29,555.3 crore (up 53.5% YoY), providing strong revenue visibility. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 8 per share (400% on face value Rs 2). Additionally, the Board approved Rs 2,000 crore investment for a new greenfield large power transformers facility in Karjan, Gujarat, taking cumulative capex to Rs 4,000 crore. The 7th AGM is scheduled for August 28, 2026.
The strong quarterly and annual performance with near-doubling of PAT and record order backlog signals robust business momentum. The additional Rs 2,000 crore capex for power transformers indicates confidence in India's energy transition and grid infrastructure growth, which should support future revenue streams. The Rs 8 dividend per share provides direct shareholder returns.
