HLE Glascoat reported standalone revenue of ₹72,311.46 lakhs, up 31.2% from ₹55,106.92 lakhs in the prior year, with standalone PAT at ₹3,821.09 lakhs, more than doubling from ₹1,637.12 lakhs. Consolidated revenue grew 31.7% to ₹1,35,297.94 lakhs (vs ₹1,02,753.33 lakhs), though consolidated PAT declined 8.4% to ₹5,656.57 lakhs from ₹6,176.74 lakhs due to higher expenses and one-time costs. The auditors issued an unqualified report with an Emphasis of Matter regarding the retroactive application of the Kinam Enterprise Private Limited amalgamation (NCLT approved August 2025). Exceptional items of ₹437.26 lakh (standalone) and ₹668.61 lakh (consolidated) included acquisition transaction costs and incremental defined benefit obligations. The Board recommended a dividend of ₹1.10 per share (55%). A new wholly-owned subsidiary, HLE International S.a.r.l., was incorporated in Luxembourg.
Strong standalone topline growth of 31% and near doubling of standalone PAT are positive signals. However, consolidated PAT decline despite higher revenue, rising trade receivables (up ₹8.5k+ lakh in consolidated), and exceptional items related to acquisitions warrant close monitoring. The unqualified audit with no going concern issues is reassuring.
