HMA Agro Industries' board, meeting on August 12, 2025, approved unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹11,226 million, up about 57% from ₹7,126 million in the same quarter last year. However, profit before tax fell sharply to ₹14.23 million (from ₹57.19 million YoY), and net profit was a thin ₹5.97 million versus ₹7.28 million, reflecting heavy cost pressure as raw material costs surged. On a standalone basis, revenue grew to ₹10,885 million and net profit jumped to ₹71.73 million from ₹24.56 million a year ago. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on both sets of results. The board also approved amendments to the POSH policy and Insider Trading Code to align with the latest SEBI regulations.
Strong top-line growth is positive, but collapsing margins on a consolidated basis and a near-flat net profit may concern investors looking at profitability. Standalone numbers are healthier. Overall, this is a mixed result – revenue momentum is intact, but cost management and margin recovery will be key things to watch in coming quarters.
