Honda India Power Products reported FY2026 revenue of ₹86,545 lakhs, up 9% from ₹79,423 lakhs in FY2025. However, profit after tax declined 19.6% to ₹6,424 lakhs from ₹7,994 lakhs, with EPS dropping to ₹63.33 from ₹78.81. Q4 FY26 PAT fell to ₹2,692 lakhs from ₹3,616 lakhs in Q4 FY25. The company recorded exceptional items of ₹999 lakhs due to new Labour Codes implementation (gratuity and compensated absences). The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹23 per share (230% on face value ₹10), payable after September 7, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Sameer Jain is appointed as Chief Corporate Officer from July 2026 and Whole-Time Director from September 2026, succeeding Mr. Vinay Mittal who retires in September 2026. New internal auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP and Das Patnaik & Co. were appointed for FY2026-27. Statutory auditors B S R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion.
Revenue grew modestly but profitability declined sharply due to labour code impact and higher material costs. The 230% dividend payout signals management confidence despite lower profits. Leadership transition and auditor changes are procedural but noteworthy for governance continuity.
