Honda India Power Products' board, which met on February 13, 2026, approved three main items. First, unaudited Q3 FY26 results showed revenue from operations at Rs. 27,040 lakhs, up about 32% year-on-year from Rs. 20,418 lakhs, but profit for the quarter fell to Rs. 1,667 lakhs from Rs. 1,909 lakhs last year. The nine-month profit stood at Rs. 3,732 lakhs versus Rs. 4,378 lakhs, mainly hurt by a one-time exceptional charge of Rs. 1,184 lakhs related to the new Labour Codes notified in November 2025. Second, the board declared an interim dividend of Rs. 3.50 per share (35%) with a record date of February 19, 2026 and payment on March 12, 2026. Third, Mr. Shigeki Iwama has been reappointed as Chairman, Managing Director, President and CEO for one year starting April 1, 2026, bringing leadership continuity.
Strong top-line growth and a healthy dividend are positives for shareholders, while the dip in profit is largely a one-time Labour Code adjustment and not an operational concern. The CEO reappointment removes any management uncertainty and signals business-as-usual going into FY27.
