Housing sales rise 19% in Apr-Jun across 9 cities despite global uncertainties

Housing sales across nine major Indian cities rose 19 percent year-on-year in the April-June quarter, according to PropEquity data. New residential supply surged 43 percent annually to 1,17,609 units during the same period. Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune posted strong sales growth, while Delhi-NCR and Kolkata recorded declines compared to the year-ago quarter.
