HPL Electric & Power reported its Q1 FY26 results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose modestly to Rs. 396.97 crore from Rs. 390.08 crore in Q1 FY25, while standalone net profit was nearly flat at Rs. 16.94 crore vs Rs. 16.79 crore (EPS Rs. 2.64 vs Rs. 2.61). On a consolidated basis, revenue dipped to Rs. 383.03 crore from Rs. 392.91 crore, but net profit grew to Rs. 18.48 crore from Rs. 17.03 crore (EPS Rs. 2.87 vs Rs. 2.65). The Metering, Systems & Services segment remained the larger revenue contributor. The board also re-appointed M.K. Singhal & Co. as Cost Auditor, PwC as Internal Auditor for FY26, and AVA Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years (April 2025 to March 2030). Statutory auditor Sakshi & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Results are largely flat year-on-year with no major surprises — stable topline, marginal profit growth, and no exceptional items. Re-appointment of PwC as internal auditor may be viewed as a governance positive, while the mixed consolidated topline could draw limited scrutiny. Near-term stock reaction is likely to be muted.
