HPL Electric & Power Ltd reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹519.70 crore in Q4 FY26, with full-year FY26 revenue crossing ₹1,800 crore for the first time at ₹1,811.10 crore, up 6.52% YoY. Operating profit (EBITDA) grew 10.52% YoY to ₹281.43 crore, expanding margins by 56 basis points to 15.54%. Cash profit surged 13.43% to ₹155.51 crore. However, reported PAT declined 2.91% to ₹91.25 crore due to higher depreciation from capacity additions and temporary input-cost timing. Consumer & Industrial emerged as a second growth engine with 25.62% YoY growth (₹784.67 crore), led by Wires & Cables which grew 50% to ₹340.74 crore. Smart Metering showed sequential recovery in Q4 with revenue of ₹305.74 crore. Order book stands at over ₹3,200 crore.
The results demonstrate strong operating performance with margins expanding and cash generation accelerating, though reported PAT declined due to non-cash charges. The emergence of Consumer & Industrial as a second growth engine reduces reliance on smart metering alone, while the strong order book of ₹3,200+ crore provides revenue visibility.
