Hubtown Limited has received in-principle listing approval from both NSE and BSE for 62,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each allotted to promoters on a preferential basis, following the conversion of warrants. The shares were issued at a premium of Rs. 210 per share, taking the effective allotment price to Rs. 220 per share and the total allotment value to around Rs. 137.5 crore. The shares bear distinctive numbers from 129350658 to 135600657. Trading approval will follow once the depositories (NSDL/CDSL) confirm credit of shares to promoter accounts. The company must comply with SEBI ICDR Regulation 167 and file the trading approval application within seven working days.
Existing shareholders will see a marginal increase in the total share count and a slight dilution of their stake, but the allotment strengthens promoter holding and signals promoter confidence in the company. The shares are not yet tradeable on the exchanges pending depository confirmation.
