IG Petrochemicals has announced the results of its postal ballot conducted between 12th March and 10th April 2025. Out of 34,541 eligible members, 166 participated through e-voting. All four resolutions were passed with overwhelming majority: re-appointment of Nikunj Dhanuka as Chairman and Managing Director received 96.85% votes in favour, appointment of Mayank Dhanuka as Director got 99.62% support, his appointment as Executive Director and CEO got 96.85% support, and appointment of Jyotin Mehta as Independent Director received 98.97% approval. The promoter group voted 100% in favour of resolutions where they held voting rights, while public non-institutions and institutions showed more mixed participation.
All director appointments and re-appointments have been formally approved by shareholders, providing stability in the company's leadership. The very high approval rates (over 96% on all resolutions) signal strong shareholder confidence, though low public retail participation (only 1.45% of non-institutional shares voted) limits the broader market signal.
