IFL Enterprises reported a strong turnaround in FY25. Q4FY25 net profit jumped 348% year-on-year to Rs. 3.04 crore, compared with a loss of Rs. 67.87 lakh in Q4FY24. Quarterly revenue surged multifold to Rs. 72.13 crore from Rs. 1.98 crore a year earlier. For the full year, net profit rose 254% to Rs. 2.99 crore and revenue grew about 13 times to Rs. 120.60 crore. The company raised Rs. 49.53 crore via a rights issue in June 2024 (subscribed 1.21 times) and announced a 1:150 bonus issue. It is expanding into agri commodities trading (fruits, vegetables, seeds, organic and herbal products) and also into stock trading.
Sharp revenue and profit growth signal a successful business pivot, supported by fresh capital from the rights issue. Shareholders may view this as a positive turnaround story, though the very low base in the previous year makes the growth percentages less meaningful on their own.
