IIFL Capital reported full-year FY'26 operational revenue of INR2,439 crores, virtually flat YoY, with retail revenues down 9% to INR1,121 crores due to SEBI regulatory changes. Institutional and Investment Banking revenues rose 11% to INR712 crores, while financial product distribution income grew 16% to ~INR590 crores. Employee costs surged to INR687 crores due to headcount increase, variable pay and a one-time labour law charge, causing operational PBT to fall 22%. Q4 revenues were INR644 crores, up 20% YoY, driven by strong institutional and investment banking income of INR162 crores. Management flagged short-term headwinds from upcoming RBI regulations affecting working capital and margin requirements but expects domestic flows to cushion foreign outflows. The company is evaluating acquisition opportunities and new projects but made no definitive disclosures.
Rising employee and finance costs are pressuring margins, though diversified revenue streams and strong institutional income partially offset weakness. The company remains well-capitalised with INR3,000+ crores net worth to fund growth.
