CRISIL Ratings has assigned a CRISIL AA/Stable rating to IIFL Finance's new Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) worth Rs. 2,000 Crore. It also reaffirmed its existing ratings: CRISIL AA/Stable on Bank Loan Facilities of Rs. 9,500 Crore and NCDs of Rs. 10,531.53 Crore, CRISIL PPMLD AA/Stable on long-term principal protected market-linked debentures, CRISIL AA-/Stable on Perpetual Bonds, and CRISIL A1+ on Commercial Paper. The outlook across all long-term ratings remains Stable, indicating CRISIL's view that the company's credit profile is unlikely to change in the near term. AA is a high safety investment-grade rating, while A1+ is the highest short-term rating.
Positive to neutral for shareholders — rating reaffirmation with a Stable outlook signals continued strong creditworthiness and easy access to debt markets. The new Rs. 2,000 Crore NCD rating indicates the company is planning to raise additional funds, which could support business growth if used productively.
