IIFL Finance has allotted 100 Perpetual Unsecured Listed Rated Debentures (NCDs) under Series PDI-1 2027 to investors on private placement basis. Each debenture has a face value of INR 1 crore, totaling INR 100 crores. The instruments carry a coupon rate of 9.90% per annum with interest payments scheduled annually from May 2027 to May 2036. As perpetual instruments, there is no fixed maturity date, but the company can exercise a call option after 10 years with prior RBI approval. The NCDs will be listed on the National Stock Exchange.
This issuance strengthens IIFL Finance's capital base as an NBFC, providing Tier-1 capital for regulatory compliance. The 9.90% coupon is moderate for perpetual debt, offering investors steady returns while the company benefits from long-term funding without immediate equity dilution.
